In Grade 7, students engage in a dynamic curriculum that integrates various thematic units to encourage a comprehensive understanding of the world and their place in it. They explore beliefs, values, and religions and gain perspective on diversity. The curriculum also covers human migration, examining its causes and impact on societies and individuals. Students learn about managing finite resources responsibly and the importance of sustainability. They delve into different government systems and its effect on people's lives, study energy sources and their environmental impacts, and emphasize the power of creative expression in personal and social change. Together, these units encourage students to connect their learning to real-world issues, promote personal and social responsibility.

Language Art

  • Reading Strategies: Synthesizing, skimming, and scanning for information.
  • Novel Studies: In-depth analysis of "The Giver" by Lois Lowry and "A Long Walk to Water" by Linda Sue Park.
